This is the home page for Caledonia Counseling, specializing in court-ordered counseling and trauma healing for the past 20 years in Colorado.

Caledonia Counseling is now ready to take on new clients in Oahu, Hawai'i. 

I hope to focus on healing members of our military and their families.

I am happy to take on new clients on a private basis from Colorado, but unfortunately cannot take on new court-ordred cleints in Colorado. 

I am thrilled to contribute to our childrens' education through The Big Fire!!!

My goal as a therapist has been to help individuals to improve their lives.  Relationship pain, anger, and ineffective methods to address the issues has been the norm for all.  The discussions in counseling- private or court-ordered, group or individual, or as couples- focus on undertsanding how we develop as people within our families and communities.  Our need to protect ourself usually creates problems within adult relationships - sabotage due to fears destroys relaitonships and takes us further from our goals.



STudents & Athletes for Healthy RelationshipS (STAHRS.org) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created to be a platform & mechanism for professional athletes to make a difference addressing the current wave of violence sweeping our schools.  Using curricula based on 30+ years of mental health work, STAHRS will lower the trajectory of violence in our schools, our communities and our families' futures.

My Bucket List: 

• Present RELATIONSHIPS 101 to One Hundred and One high school teams and athletic programs across the country. 
  
• Implement a 6 month program for athletes in high schools to address teen dating violence & bullying.
  
• Implement a 6 month program for athletes in college or professional sports team.
• Continue addressing the misogynistic attitudes and behaviors that drive sexual assaults and domestic violence.
